My daughter and I were talking and she asked if I had heard about gender cakes. To my reply I said "what's that?"
She goes on to explain and shows me some pictures off the internet!
Personally I think it is an adorable idea!
After having your ultra sound, Doc
writes the sex of the baby down on a piece of paper and seals it in an
envelope, expecting Mom & Dad take it to their local bakery for a
gender cake!
The baker makes either a pink or blue cake, covers it in
fondant and decorates the cake. The cake is then cut at either a family
dinner or baby shower.
